Nordex raises 2026 EBITDA margin guidance to 11.5-12.5% after Q3 earnings surge

Nordex Group raised its full-year 2026 EBITDA margin guidance to 11.5% to 12.5%, up from 8.0% to 11.0%, after preliminary third-quarter EBITDA reached approximately 278 million euros, more than double the 136 million euros posted a year earlier. The German wind turbine maker cited stronger Service segment margins and project execution, with Q3 revenue of about 2.187 billion euros and free cash flow of 379 million euros.

Nordex Group has raised its full-year 2026 EBITDA margin guidance to 11.5% to 12.5%, up from its previous forecast of 8.0% to 11.0%, following stronger-than-expected third-quarter results, the German wind turbine manufacturer announced on October 16. Preliminary unaudited EBITDA for the third quarter of 2026 is expected to reach approximately 278 million euros, compared with 136 million euros in the same period last year, with the EBITDA margin increasing to 12.7% from 8.0%. Preliminary quarterly revenues are expected to total approximately 2.187 billion euros, up from 1.706 billion euros in Q3 2025. The company attributed the improved performance to higher margins in its Service segment and strong project execution, noting that risks previously anticipated in the Projects segment did not materialise to the expected extent. Preliminary cash and cash equivalents reached 2.327 billion euros at the end of the third quarter, compared with 1.929 billion euros at the end of 2025. Free cash flow for the quarter is expected to reach 379 million euros, compared with 149 million euros a year earlier, and Nordex expects free cash flow to remain positive in the fourth quarter on additional profits, order intake momentum and continued working capital improvements. All other elements of full-year guidance remain unchanged, including sales of 8.2 billion to 9.0 billion euros, a working capital ratio below minus 9% and capital expenditure of approximately 200 million euros. 'The third quarter shows what our teams can deliver,' said Nordex Group chief executive Jose Luis Blanco. 'Strong execution in Projects and higher profitability in Service have put us in a very good position for the final quarter. We are raising our EBITDA margin guidance for 2026 and remain focused on profitable growth.' Nordex will publish its full third-quarter results on November 5, 2026.
